Rules and Player Information

By entering Tipster Challenge, entrants agree to abide by the game Rules and Terms & Conditions.

1. How and When to Play

Tipster Challenge is open for registered players to make one selection each day, from 14.00 BST the day before through to 13:00 BST on the day of race. You must first register a Tipster Challenge account to play.

2. Aim of the Game

The aim of the game is to generate the largest bank by the end of each month and to win the overall prize.
Scores will be determined with the placing of an imaginary £1 stake on your selection in any race of any of the designated meetings each day. There is no outlay from your 'bank' for stakes as each entrant receives a free £1 bet per day. Once the "weighed in" result is called after a race, we will settle all 'bets' on the winning horse based on the Starting Price (SP). Normal dead-heat rules apply.
Stakes are not included your the returns and there are no returns for horses who finished placed or are declared as Non Runners subsequent to you
making your selections.
For example: If the horse that you selected wins at a returned SP of 3/1, £3 will be added to your Tipster Challenge bank. If your horse fails to win, you will not win or lose anything. If your horse is a non-runner then you won't be able to change your selection.
You will be able track your progress via our leaderboard.

3. Prizes

Prizes (as detailed below) will go to the person who has generated the largest Tipster Challenge bank balance at the end of each calendar month,
In the event of a tie, the editor of sportinglife.com will conduct a random draw of all of the tied winners to determine who takes the prize.
The Monthly Winner for will win 4 tickets to the races and a £50 free bet courtesy of Sky Bet.

4. Entry Restrictions

Only one entry is allowed per person and multiple entries will be disqualified. The competition is open to all UK, Isle of Man, Channel Island residents, aged 18 or over. Employees (or family members of employees) of Sporting Life UK Ltd, British Sky Broadcasting Group plc (or any of its group companies or affiliates), or anyone associated with this competition may not enter.
