Welcome to Newton Abbot

A very tight left handed National Hunt track with a circuit of a mile in circumference. The fences are easy and the course suits the handy type with front-runners hard to catch here. The going can vary from one extreme to the other either being very firm or a real mudbath!

The quality of racing is generally moderate but normally competitive and the course is well laid out with excellent viewing. The track is the furthest west course in England and makes an excellent day out for holiday-makers in Devon as the track operates almost all year round.

The racecourse is located off the A380 which runs south from the M5. Free parking is available.

To Newton Abbot. A bus service runs between the station and the racecourse.
