Welcome to Fakenham

A rectangular track of about one-mile in circumference, very sharp and undulating, that favours a handy, well-balanced type of animal. There is a 200 yards run-in from the final obstacle to the line.

Fakenham is renowned for having a go-ahead management team that has implemented many improvements at this Norfolk course over the past few years. It is generally perceived to be one of the better run of the smaller, 'country' tracks, and is popular among owners, trainers and jockeys as well as racegoers. Owen Brennan has had a good record at the track over the years and Nicky Henderson's runners are always to be feared.

One mile from the town on the B1146.

Norwich (26 miles) and King's Lynn (22 miles) are the nearest stations to the track. There are no bus services to the course though so be prepared for a long walk!
