Analysis: A real shocker in the finale as 66-1 bottom weight COSMIC SUN got the better of a final furlong dual with Chiberta King for the in-form Richard Fahey team. Paul Hanagan pushed the winner up to challenge early in the straight and drove him out to the line to beat off the runner-up, who sat off the leaders before being produced to challenge out wide by William Buick. They had the race to themselves late on although Barwell Bridge tried hard to get involved. The well-backed Zarinska was outpaced early in the straight and only plugged on for fourth.
