Analysis: A gutsy victory for TRICKY TRICKSTER who took up the running of this marathon test a mile from home and looked like he would be swamped approaching the last but battled on bravely up the hill. Drumconvis looked all over the winner turning into the straight but a mistake at the last knocked the stuffing out of him. Nine De Sivola stayed on from nowhere for third while favourite Can't Buy Time was cruising at the top of the hill but didn't seem to get home.
